No INTERNET permission for your data
The app we wrote declares no INTERNET and no network-state permission — only notifications, microphone, and Health Connect. There is no path for your cycle data to be uploaded.
On-device AI
Predictions, insights, and the Pinky assistant run entirely on your phone with an open-weights model. No prompts, no health data, ever sent to a server.
Encrypted at rest
Your data is stored with SQLCipher under a key wrapped by the hardware Keystore. Even on the device, it's encrypted.

Optional advanced-AI model download
If you choose to enable advanced AI, PinkyBloom downloads an open-weights model file once, over HTTPS. The request sends no data about you — it just fetches a file, which then runs entirely on your phone. The app is fully functional without ever triggering it. That's the only time anything is downloaded, and nothing about you is ever uploaded.
